Since the start of the 2004/2005 academic year, the Faculty of Sciences has set up a common library service, for which human and material resources have been mobilized, in order to provide users with a space for information and comfortable work. The establishment of this common service responds to the desire of the Faculty of Sciences to improve the quality of the services it offers to its students. Thanks to this initiative, the Faculty of Sciences becomes the first and only national public faculty to offer free consultation of works in the reading rooms.
From the start of the 2005/2006 school year, the library has had a fully computerized information system. The online catalog is currently only accessible on a local network at the address
Organization:
The central library is spread over two levels, each made up of two wings, plus an entrance hall. The organization of these spaces is made as follows:
- Entrance hall
- Reception and information
- Reading and consultation rooms
Staff :
The staff of the BU is responsible for several missions:
- Provide information and guide students in their documentary research;
- Carry out loan and return operations for works;
- ensure that the library's internal regulations are respected.
