The mission of the accounting service is to collect the receipts and to proceed to the payment of the expenses of the university. It also keeps the accounts of the establishment and as such produces the financial account annually. Finally, the accountant is responsible for the conservation of funds and securities belonging to the University.

The Accountant is a public accountant appointed on the proposal of the President of the University by joint order of the Minister of National Education and the Minister of the Budget. Adviser to the president or director in financial and accounting matters, he assists in the management of the establishment and contributes to decision-making. He is a player in the modernization of the establishment's budgetary and financial policy. He is responsible for collecting receipts from the payment of expenses for the conservation of funds and securities, establishing the handling of funds and movements of accounts, keeping supporting documents for the keeping of accounts.
