Laboratory of Condensed Matter and Interdisciplinary Sciences is a recognized player in the field of the development by means of soft chemistry of inorganic functional materials or organic-inorganic hybrids, and in the evaluation of their physicochemical properties at different scales.
After its creation in October 2019 and its certification by the Materalia competitiveness cluster in December 2019, the Alliance Matériaux PME - ETI - SU is enriched with 3 new members: Peintures Maestria, VN Composites and the Laboratory of Biodiversity and Microbial Biotechnologies ( LBBM). This consortium therefore now includes 5 SMEs & ETIs: FLUOROTECHNIQUE, Peintures MAESTRIA, SEQENS, VN Composites and EXPIRIS as well as its affiliates SATYS and Gaches Chimie and 2 laboratories from Sorbonne University: LCMCP and LBBM. The Materials Alliance thus has a complete value chain in the fields of coatings and composite materials.

The members of the lab worked around four themes:

•     Liquids and Interfaces;

•     Functional nanostructures, nanomaterials;

•     Nanosources and Nanotechnologies;
  

•     Theory and Modeling.
